Stephen S. January 2025Verified BuyerWhen I took it out of the box I thought this thing is a joke. Nothing but a toy. And speaking of toys, I've seen adult ones more robust than this thing truth be told. However, once I had it charged up (no pun intended), I took it out to cut some wood (I'll leave that one alone). Much to my surprise, it did a pretty good job. I have some of those branches growing out of the main trunk that aren't really limbs on several oak trees. Using the extension I was able to trim them off w/out too much of a problem and a couple were at least 3"-4" thick.

I didn't want to risk dulling the chain, so I purchased a quart and dipped it into a cup of cutting oil.I had to tighten the chain 2x , but that was after multiple cuts (many)What surprised me the most was the how long the batter stayed charged. Very surprised. Sorry I didn't take note of how many cuts I made. The batter never ran out.I highly recommend this saw.

I used it first and it sawed right through every branch like a knife in warm butter. Then I said here try it out and boy did he go to town. We cut quite a few and it never died down, so I think the battery is a pretty good one. He smiled when. He handed it back and said ok, it's pretty okay. That coming from him means he was impressed. We will take this camping too!
